6-28-00 Question 35

Dear Preschool Teacher,
A parent has asked me to sing  a song about mud that her daughter loves. She apparently learned it at her gymboree play class and forgets the words. It sounded really cute... something about "mud squishing up through your toes". I have never heard this song before maybe you can help. Thank you in advance for your time!
Stuck in the mud

Dear Stuck in the mud,
Sorry I couldn't find what you asked for exactly, but I wondered if this might help.

A Hunk of Mud
Sung to: "If you're happy and you know it"
Oh I wish I was a little hunk of mud
Oh I wish I was a little hunk of mud
Then I'd ooey and I'd gooey
Over everybody's shoey
Oh I wish I was a little hunk of mud!

Dear Stuck in the mud,

I am not sure of this song, but you can look up their site at www.gymboree.com. I know they used to sale tapes to all their music.  Have fun!!

Dear Stuck in the mud,,
Try the website at www.kiddidles.com.  They have the words to many old and new favorites. They have a great selection and I think you can search by phrases!
